Owner & President

In 2016, Chad founded Safepoint Scientific with the premise of being an unrivaled expert in all aspects of the Continuous Monitoring Industry with a commitment to reliable, first-class customer service. As Owner and President, he’s led the company’s growth from a startup operation to a worldwide industry leader recognized by seven-figure sales and service contracts, as well as clients from major pharmaceutical and biotech companies, hospitals, IVF labs to government facilities, universities, and more.

Since graduating Stockton University with a BS in Information Systems and Security, Chad has held several impactful positions within a variety of temperature monitoring companies prior to founding Safepoint. He was responsible for overseeing both internal teams and customer growth, while playing an integral role in the development of several continuous monitoring systems still available in the market today.

Whenever he’s not actively involved in the development of all customer relationships here at Safepoint, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to new places, and hitting the links.

Rachel Amato

Vice President & COO

Despite only officially joining the Safepoint team full-time in January of 2020, Rachel has played an important role in elevating the business since day one. As our VP & COO, she is responsible for overseeing all of the day-to-day business operations — from developing procedures and strategies designed to improve workflow and productivity to spearheading the company’s internal and external growth initiatives as an industry leader.

Rachel earned an MA in Clinical Psychology from LaSalle University and a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University prior to gaining extensive managerial experience within the non-profit world. There, she managed the execution of a variety of events to raise millions of dollars each year. Her expertise has been key in the development of our national sales and service teams across multiple offices, establishing logistics, administration, and more.

Outside of work, you can find her enjoying quality time with her family, going to sporting events, traveling, or hitting the gym and training for her next race.

Jim O'Malley

National Sales Director

As Safepoint’s National Sales Director since 2020, Jim brings extensive sales management experience in the monitoring systems industry to develop, grow and oversee our internal team’s growth strategies. Throughout his broad career, he’s established and advised highly qualified, successful sales teams, recognized by his ability to continuously adapt to meet new business challenges and exceed all objectives set forth before him. Jim coordinates all facets of our sales operations throughout the US and Canada with a friendly, easy-going approach and dedication to continuous improvement.

Jim was attending college at Rowan University pursuing a BA in Business Management when life took an exciting turn, and his family got started earlier than expected. He left college to join the workforce and learn his craft through mentorship. In 2021, he made the decision to return school for his final senior year to complete his BA at Southern New Hampshire University.

In the rare free time Jim allows himself to enjoy, he is quite a big movie buff, specifically in the horror and Sci-Fi genres, and has grown quite the collection of movie posters, DC/ Marvel collectibles, comics, and more.

Jeff McGinnis

National Service Director

Since joining Safepoint in 2018 as our National Service Director, Jeff has been instrumental in building our nationwide service team, prioritizing customer support as our #1 focus. Before joining the world of temperature monitoring, his past life in the fast-paced restaurant industry helped him build an unbeatable foundation for the team-building and customer service expertise he brings to Safepoint today. For over 15 years since obtaining a BS in Business Administration from Coastal Carolina University, Jeff played an influential role in managing a variety of restaurants and business operations across multiple locations.

Originally from Missouri, Jeff grew up in NJ before settling in the Carolinas after college. While he spent half his life up north, he happily lives down south now at the beach where he loves enjoying his off time with his family. He is also a very talented drummer, who has written and recorded a CD and performed at countless events throughout South Jersey, Delaware, and Philadelphia.
